Australian Samba Retreat exists to create meaningful cultural exchange between Brazil and Australia through world-class training, artistic collaboration and community connection.
We believe samba is a powerful tool for transformation, that authentic cultural exchange matters, and that Australia's vibrant samba community deserves opportunities to learn directly from Brazil's most respected artists and cultural leaders.
This project is only possible through the generosity of our partners, donors and supporters. Their belief, advocacy and investment help us bring extraordinary artists to Australia, increase access to cultural learning, and create opportunities for communities to connect through Afro-Brazilian arts and culture.
